Tailor-made tours in Dubrovnik
What does a tailor-made tour offer?
Most importantly, a tailor-made tour gives you the freedom to choose. Not everybody is the same; we all have different habits and preferences. That is where I find the beauty of my job – the real art of guiding. My goal is to adapt a tour to your interests.
A regular Dubrovnik walking tour lasts for about 2 hours. Usually, does not include an entrance to a museum. This tour is a great option for the tourists who visit Dubrovnik for the first time. Besides, since everything is outdoors, it is surely an advantage in times of pandemics.
However, many visitors want to see more. If you stay longer in Dubrovnik, there are interesting museums to visit. Several of them are situated in buildings that had a historical function.
How long does a tailor-made tour last?
A tailor-made tour is adapted to your preferences. For example, in a two-hour visit, you can include a visit to a museum as well. However, since you are staying in Dubrovnik, take your time and visit the chosen places calmly. If you include one or two museums, the visit lasts up to 3 or 4 hours. my recommendation is to include a maximum of 2 museums in one guided tour.
Tailor-made tours – suggestions
Based on my experience so far, I can recommend a few combinations:
- The Franciscan monastery with the old pharmacy and Rector’s Palace – 3 hours
- Ethnographic Museum and the Franciscan monastery with the old pharmacy – 3 hours
- The Franciscan monastery with the old pharmacy and Maritime Museum – 3 hours
- Rector’s Palace and Ethnographic Museum – 4 hours
- Ethnographic Museum and Rector’s Palace – 4 hours
The suggestions for these tailor-made tours refer to the old city of Dubrovnik. They are all walking tours.
The tours do not include entrance tickets for the museums.
